versatile quadruped robot

POK presents REX, a brand-new quadruped robot offering exceptional versatility. Thanks to the QUICK CONNECT system, which has already proven its worth on our motorised monitor, the REX robot can change its equipment and therefore its function in the blink of an eye.

With a payload of 35 kg and compatibility with our STACS systems, REX can be equipped with:

In firefighter mode: a PROTEUS motorised nozzle (with a diffuser or water/foam branchepipe delivering 750 l/min at 6 bar), whose water supply can be remotely disconnected.

In patrol mode: a TWIN FLUID device (for fire outbreaks).

In operator mode: a robotic arm.

The REX robot can be controlled from a distance of up to 3 km using a radio control with video feedback. Its design enables it to negotiate obstacles up to 80 cm high or climb stairs. Depending on the terrain, REX adapts to move at a maximum speed of 8 m/s. Its adaptive and compact design allows it to crawl, tuck its shoulders in (SLIM mode) in confined spaces, or move sideways.

To map its surroundings accurately, REX is fitted with proximity sensors all around its body. Video cameras and a LIDAR sensor are positioned at the front and rear of the quadruped. Thanks to this configuration, REX can send a wealth of information back to its operator and even perform certain manoeuvres completely autonomously.

REX has a battery life of 4 hours thanks to its two hot-swappable batteries. Its motor allows it to carry loads of approximately 35 kg. REX is IP67 rated, ensuring it is dust and water-resistant.
Dimensions (excluding equipment):
930 × 480 × 585 mm (upright)
930 × 630 × 200 mm (flat)
Weight with batteries (excluding equipment): 42 kg
